It is the drivers or car owners responsibility to ensure that your vehicle is roadworthy even in this (COVID-19) restrictive times and whilst the Government have given a 6 month reprieve on MOT expiry (providing it was still valid on March 20th 2020) you would still be liable if your car was being used on a public road and was found to be un-roadworthy such as a bald Tyre or another major defect.

Again whilst the Government made pre 1960 classic vehicles exempt from MOT, it is still the drivers responsibility to keep the vehicle in a Safe and Roadworthy condition . Who is looking at your car?
